![]() It is not a camera bag, but works well when used with an insert. It is a good size, comfortable and extremely lightweight. My Osprey Exos 38 – This was the bag used on my photography hiking trip in Nepal. ![]() A great bag for the photography vlogger or those who like an adventure. My Shimoda Action X Camera Bag – Save 10%: HEATON10 – This bag is incredibly well built, comfortable and holds EVERYTHING! Whilst being able to carry all i need for filming, camping and photography, it also packs down to aeroplane cabin size. I must stress though, this bag is not designed for photography and has no padding or protection. This is so handy for hiking photography trips where instant camera access is vital. Osprey Seral 7 Bum Bag – This was an impulse purchase for a different adventure, however after testing the fit with my Fuji X-T4 and lenses, I decided to use this on my trip across Skye. For a one man video creator, this has to be a contender for best drone on the market. Not once have I had to do the drone dance whilst calibrating the compass, the image quality is much improved and even the stills are incredibly usable. I fly this thing with 100% confidence knowing it will behave as it should. Rode Video Mic X – This is an expensive microphone, especially when you can pick up a Video Micro for £50, however the quality of this mic is superb and there is no better solution for recording the ambient sounds of the landscape.ĭJI Mavic Air 2 – This is a huge upgrade from the Mavic air 1. It is small, cheap, reliable and delivers superb audio. Rode Video Micro – This little mic offers amazing quality when plugged in to any of my cameras. Insta 360 One X – A 360º camera that delivers fantastic image quality and offers endless creative possibilities. This is the best solution I have found and it works great. GoPro Windslayer – GoPro’s are known for their poor audio in windy conditions. Far more reliable than the DJI Osmo action that I previously tried. Go Pro Hero 7 Waterproof Camera – My current ‘mini’ camera. I primarily use this lens when filming in my campervan as it is wide and lets in lots of light. Samyang 12mm ƒ2 Lens – This manual focus lens was purchased for the fuji as a way to boost it’s low light performance even more. I would use this as my main vlogging camera if it were not for the lack of flippy screen, so I use it in situations that require a little higher video quality to the M50. It can handle low light, the colours are great and it can shoot super slow mo. The video quality is incredible and offers the best performance on the market for the price. It is not perfect though the auto focus is nowhere near as reliable as Canon’s system.įuji X-T3 – This is both a stills camera and a video camera for me. It has excellent colours and a great “Look” straight out of camera, it performs very well in low light, the 4k footage looks superb, it has a flip out screen, in body stabilisation and the battery life is excellent. Use: HEATON at įuji X-T4 – I use this exclusively for video, however it is reassuring to know that it will also serve as a backup if my main stills camera fails. Kase were able to offer me a 5% discount code to give out. They are tough, high quality and attach with an intuitive, easy to use magnetic system. It has a large aperture which is great for subject separation and is incredibly small and lightweight. Here’s a video on the process.įuji 35mm f2 R WR Lens – Used on my smaller X series cameras, this lens is a great focal length for intimate landscape photography and really narrowing down on your subject. the main benefit of this camera over the X-T3 is the in-body image stabilisation and improved battery life.įuji XT3 + 18-55 & 55-200 lenses – This is a fantastic, lightweight and compact camera which I have now converted to Infrared. It delivers beautiful video and is a capable stills camera. One is dedicated to video recording and the other to lightweight photography trips such as my 100 Miles on Skye adventure. Here is a video about why.įuji X-T4 – I have 2 of these cameras. Nikon Z8 – This is now my main photography camera.
